Apollo are an established name in the hifi furniture market in their own right, originally founded and based in Tipton, West Midlands, Apollo was a renowned and leading name in the 1970s. Atacama acquired Apollo in October 2013 and relocated them to their factory less than 50 miles from Apollo's original HQ. Apollo focus mainly on quality wall-shelf designs, solid oak hifi racks and metallic speaker stands.

The C1 is a loudspeaker stand built from Apollo, designed and engineered specifically for wider-than-deep speakers, predominantly centre channel loudspeakers. Available in a wide number of height options, the twin columns can be mass loaded for added stability and heightened sound performance. The base plate is oval in shape and features 5 adjustable carbon steel spikes for variable fine-tuning of the balance and angle of the stand. Mini gel pads also included. Made in the UK.
