The Audio Analogue Crescendo Tuner / USB DAC is effectively a two source product - it can be used in two seperate modes, either as a tuner or as a USB DAC - the two circuits are entirely seperate, only the analogue output stage and aluminium enclosure are common to both, ensuring zero noise contamination of the audio signal.

When in USB DAC mode, a PC or Mac computer can be connected to the Audio Analogue Crescendo Tuner / USB DAC, and the computer will see the Audio Analogue Crescendo Tuner / USB DAC as the 'soundcard' - albeit a very high quality sound card.

Any audio which can be enjoyed from the computer will then be enjoyed in extremely high quality from your hifi system.
