Audiolab design and engineer high quality, audiophile-grade hifi components. The company have claimed numerous awards and positive reviews over the years and continue to retain their position as one of the most highly regarded hifi companies on the market today.
Audiolab's 8300 series sees a number of improvements over its predecessor 8200 range with each component having been reviewed, assessed and redefined over a number of years worth of research. More efficient materials have been used, and have been implemented in a way that allows for an even better fidelity across the board. The look and feel of the series has also been updated, resulting in a cleaner, more modern aesthetic. The 8300 series raises the bar, and sees drastic upgrades to what was already an industry-leading range of hifi products.
The 8300A has been completely redesigned from the ground up, with Audiolab claiming it to be 'miles ahead' of its highly regarded predecessor, the 8200A. Offering a higher power output, an additional integrated phonostage for use with a turntable, and the unique ability to behave as either an integrated amplifier, a dedicated pre-amplifier, a power amplifier, or a split pre/power amplifier - all of which are selected via the updated display.
Audiolab believe in retaining the quality of an analogue signal, and so have built the 8300A to handle analogue signals to an uncompromising standard. For this reason, the 8300A is an analogue-only amplifier, leaving the digital processing to the counterpart CD player; the 8300CD. This gives the amplifier the advantage of a truly clean circuitry. The small digital circuitry involved in the amp's visual display even has its own internal power supply, as not to compromise the integrity of the analogue componentry.
