SOLID PERFECT-SURFACE COPPER+ (PSC+) CONDUCTORS:

Perfect-Surface Copper, as can be assumed by the name, features a truly smooth and pure surface, thanks to the proprietary metal processing technology used in its construction. This technology protects the surface of the wire at every step of drawing and fabrication. When high-purity, low-oxide copper is kept soft, pure and smooth - it forms a truly superlative conductor, with absolute minimal distortion. Conventional interconnect cables often struggle with the electrical and magnetic interaction between stands, which tends to be the greatest source of unwanted audio distortion, usually resulting in a dirty or harsh sound. These quality conductors and refusal to compromise are what make AudioQuest's cables so exemplary. The PSC+ conductors undergo the same process as the PSC ones but instead comprises of a truly ultra-pure copper for the best possible signal transmission. 

STAR-QUAD GEOMETRY:

The relationship between conductors truly defines the most basic electrical values of any cable, namely the capacitance and inductance. The issue is that even when these variables are kept in a reasonable balance, the way the conductors talk to each other may be varied in ways that greatly affect the sound of the signal being transmitted through it. AudioQuest has developed the StarQuad cable geometry in order to improve this relationship between conductors, resulting in a dramatically better dynamic contrast and information pass-through than if the conductors were simply run in parallel.

FOAMED-POLYETHYLENE INSULATION:

When a solid material adjoins a conductor, it actually exists as an element within an imperfect circuit. The insulation of the wire and the materials that make up the circuit board all absorb energy, which equates to a loss. Some of this energy is stored within the component and then released as distortion. This AudioQuest cable attempts to counteract this unwanted effect by using specialised air-filled Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation on both conductors. Air absorbs next to zero energy, while Polyethylene as a material is low-loss and has no harmful effect with distortion.

CARBON-BASED NOISE-DISSIPATION

CROSS-TALK-DISSIPATION SYSTEMS (INSULATION):

This cable features two negative conductors that AudioQuest have partially insulated with conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene. This superlative material has the extraordinary ability to dampen radio-frequency interference from being fed back into the system's amplifier. This has a positive effect on the overall sound response in the same way that it does when reducing RF in an audio circuit; better dimensionality and clearer sound across the board. This cable further enhances the signal transfer by using air-filled, Nitrogen-Injected Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation on the positive conductors. This is done because air absorbs practically zero energy, while polyethene has a benign distortion profile.
