AudioQuest is one of the most well-regarded cable manufacturers in the world, with each cable seeing a level of meticulous detail in both its aesthetic construction, as well as intuitive engineering within to provide an impressive performance. Regardless of whether the cable in question be an analogue or digital interconnect, speaker cable, subwoofer cable or anything with Audioquest's badge on it - only the finest quality materials and construction expertise is used to form an exceptional, industry-leading product.

Regardless of how clean an AC power source is, distortion will always be added within any AC cable, especially cable with a stranded design. Even the most adept and sophisticated mains condition units and power supplies can no remove the cable-induced distortion. A quality power cable though, can reduce these parasitic effects and have a direct effect on the quality of your audio system.

Using solid conductors ensures that potential distortion caused by conductor strands is completely eliminated. This means that the cable is able to offer a much smoother and more detailed sound response than lesser cables that use OFHC copper. OFHC stands for 'Oxygen Free High Conductivity', but this acronym is slightly misleading as the term is a general metal specification that does not take distortion into consideration as being 'loss'. Long-Grain Copper however has fewer oxides within the conducting material, reduced grain boundaries and as a result; a superior performance in audio.

This high quality cable uses AudioQuest's counter-spiral geometry. This means that it has an inner circular array of positive conductors that spiral in one direction, while wrapped around this inner group of conductors are the negitive conductors which spiral in the other direction. Even when the negitive conductors are crossing eachother, as opposted to being parallel, the relationship between the positive and negative groups is fixed and does not change. This exemplifies one of AudioQuest's most first and foremost design philosophies: consistency. The result is a superlative level of clarity, across every microdynamic of the audio. AudioQuest use the analogy of 'focusing a camera lens you had no idea was so far out of focus'.
