The ANC70 is a noise cancelling over-ear headphone model from Audio Technica, designed to pick-up and analyse continuous ambient noise, before being counteracting this noise with a 180 degree off-phase soundwave. Environmental noise is retrieved by a microphone on the headphone itself, which is then processed by AT's QuietPoint technology before being eliminated with this counteracting soundwave.
ANC70 features large-aperture 40mm drivers, used in conjunction with a rare earth magnet system and high sensitivity. This means that the headphones are able to offer a dynamic and engaging sound performance, regardless of source or volume level. Noise cancelling can be switched off and the headphones will operate passively without compromise.
