The B&W CCM618 is a superb choice of in-ceiling loudspeaker for larger rooms or where the music choice is biased towards a heavier bass requirement.
Sold in pairs, the B&W CCM618 has a diameter of 280mm and requires a ceiling depth of just 109mm, but still manages to feature a 200mm bass midrange driver made from very light but stiff woven glass fibre material for excellent bass reproduction and clear midrange projection.
An offset adjustable 25mm tweeter can be positioned towards the listening position for more detailed high frequency performance, whilst the rugged ABS chassis is easily installed due to the four dog leg fixings which rotate by 90 degrees once the screw fixings are tightened.
A three position equalisation switch allows the high frequency output to be set according to personal preference once the B&W CCM618 is installed in position.
