Phil Glazzard was the designer and manufacturer of the Audio project ap60 integrated amplifer, which received a very positive review in Hifi news magazine in 2001. We still have a working example at the shop if anyone would like to have a listen.

The amplifier was a 60W per channel stereo design, with splitable pre and power amplifier sections. Infra red controlled, it could also be ordered with a MM/ MC phono stage.

Here is the description and specification from the audioproject website:-

AP60 is a high-end integrated amplifier with 60 W optional upgrade to bi-amp with additional AP60p amplifier. The amplifier has two outputs the first feeds the power amplifier input, whilst the second allow for an additional amplifier or sound processor. Audio Project have employed a class AB output using bi-polar transistors in order to obtain maximum linearity. AP60 is an amplifier designed for music fans looking for the highest musical performance.

The amplifier is built-in opto-electronic non-invasive protection against overheating and power surges. A massive toroidal 300VA transformer and computer grade long-life electrolytic capacitors ensure that AP60 has enough power for even the most demanding musical sections and provide a natural sound. All input and output connectors are gold-coated, and to ensure maximum bandwidth of the signal. Housing in black finish with a massive cast aluminum front panel. The ap60 can also get a remote control that allows you to control all of the inputs and volume.
