The last few weeks have been a real adventure, but we're finally in.

The majority of last week was spent re-boxing display products ready for transportation, and moving our stock around to ensure that when the van comes on the Saturday morning, everything is ready to be shifted on and moved to King Street.

After three journeys with the large truck and Alex's HifiGear van following behind, we had moved all of our stock to the allocated spots and managed to get all of the display units into the shop floor. It was an exceptionally long day, but we managed it!

The desk was a mission in its own right, and took 6 people to get it out of the old shop and into the new one!

Sunday was spent setting up the shop, ready for business-as-usual on Monday. While the new store is technically smaller than our old premises in Rotherwas, we are still able to offer demonstrations on everything we had out before, and we still have a vast number of amplifiers, CD players, DACs, turntables and loudspeakers out on display in our new show-room.

You can find us just a short walk from the Cathedral, and we're distinguishable by our impacting light-up sign on the front of the shop, and our hanging sign protruding from the shop face slightly (signage by Signs Labels Hereford)

We also now have two window displays! One is currently showcasing some of our more traditional hifi components, while the other window shows off some of our new media products; headphones, iPod docks, one-box streamers and portables. More units are on display inside the shop however, with dedicated new media and turntable sections to the back of the store.

We're overwhelmed by the level of support we've had during the move, not only from our staff and families, but also from our newly found neighbours and the welcome that they've given us.

We at HifiGear would like to personally thank Lydia, Jocelyn, Dom and Lee for their help with the great move and we'd also like to thank our neighbours Andy's Kitchen, Clarke Jeffreys, Signs Hereford, IT Repairs Hereford and Diego's Cafe for giving us such a warm welcome over Twitter and in-store. The start of a new era!
