The primary details of ten new products were revealed to What Hifi? magazine earlier this week. Other than the ten revelations, Yamaha claim there are more to follow and that they plan to reveal the entirety of them at IFA this year in Berlin. Below is a basic summary of what we know so far!

Yamaha NX-P100
The NX-P100 has been revealed to be a compact Bluetooth speaker, making use of the current APT-X and NFC connection technology. The speaker contains a hefty battery inside that's not only able to power the unit for a lengthy amount of time, but will also charge your smartphone through a USB port (similar to the Loewe Speaker 2 Go)

Yamaha MCR-N560
Built from ideas and experience learned from Yamaha's Pianocraft MCR system is the MCR-N560. This unit is a smooth, complete mini hifi system with a plethora of networking features integrated within. The R-N500 is a standard sized network-streaming stereo music player and allows its user to manipulate and stream music files from sources like AirPlay, DLNA and vTuner, all controlled from a free smartphone application.

Yamaha RX-S600/RX-S600D
Yamaha have developed the RX-S600 as a slimmer, more compact and stream-line alternative to an AV-R. The RX-S600 allows for network connectivity, including, again, a smartphone/tablet application control, an alternative 3.1/two-zone configuration and all of the standard connections, inputs and outputs you'd expect from a a product such as this. The RX-S600D is the DAB alternative, utilising a tuner for both DAB and DAB+

Yamaha YSP-1400
What Hifi? have revealed the YSP-1400 as an 'entry-level Yamaha Sound Projector in a one-box solution'. The unit has a collected arrangement of connections, and also makes use of two integrated subwoofers.

Yamaha YAS-152
The YAS-152 is a long soundbar designed with 55-60 inch televisions in mind. The soundbar has been revealed to contain Bluetooth as well as Yamaha's AirSurround Xtreme technology.

Yamaha Soavo
The second era of Soavo speakers have been redesigned and constructed with a new cabinet layour, new integrated A-PMD woofers and a newly designed tweeter.

Yamaha NX-B55
As the NX-50 speakers were so successful, Yamaha have now created a Bluetooth edition. This 2.0 system is said to offer 'exceptional clarity and bass response for its size'. The unit also has an auxiliary in for non-Bluetooth connectivity.

Yamaha A-S201
The A-S201 is Yamaha's fresh, new entry-level stereo amp.

Yamaha NS-SW200 /NS-SW300

Making use of their own YST II Advanced Bass Technology, Yamaha have designed these subwoofers to offer a huge punch from a small box. These subs have a new type of port, known as the 'Twisted Flare Port' which apparently distributes air in a more detailed, and clearer way, which results in a much more deep and precise bass sound.
