Burson's 'Conductor SL 9018' headphone amp/32 bit DAC is the next level up from the standard 'Conductor'. The DNA of the Conductor SL 9018 is essentially the same and aims to be one of the greatest DAC/headphone amplifiers in the world. Similarly to the Conductor, the SL 9018 is in is completely discrete in design (IC free). It contains the same 21 component Field Effect Transistor input stage found in the original, as well as the same discrete power supply which brought so much popularity to the original Conductor. Manufcatured with the same premium components and operating in pure Class-A, the Conductor SL 9018 brings accross the same sound signature which has been described as 'the utmost in organic transparency']
