Chord's Chordette Prime is designed to behave as the brains for your Chordette system, acting as the control centre for the entire system. The Prime can be used as the pre-amplification element of any hifi system, however, and will process signals to the true Chord Electronics standard of unbeatable, audiophile performance.

The Chordette Prime supports four different sources, with RCA analogue inputs and a USB connection, allowing for a direct digital connection to a PC or laptop. This USB input not only allows for a convenient playback experience, but will also enable to listener to record the audio from any of the analogue inputs directly to a computer. When playing music through USB, an optical TOSLink output acts as a digital record monitor or as a digital feed into another DAC or AV system.

With a clear and easy-to-read display, a full remote/manual control - the Prime offers an intuitive operating experience, while it's compact size and unobtrusive aesthetic makes it easy to integrate with existing components. Small in size, huge in performance.
