Cyber Screens Tab Tension Acoustic Projection Screen

The acoustic material on our Tab Tension screens is designed to let the sound from speakers mounted behind the screen through to the audience with the minimum of interference to sound or picture quality.

The Grandview Cyber Screens Tab Tension Projection Screen has a bar at the bottom and on the left and right side a nylon string which is connected periodically to the material via small tabs. The weight of the bar pulls the screen down and the nylon string which can be tightened with the unique ratchet mechanism at each end of the bar makes sure the screen the flexible material is pulled taught from all sides. The US made material is optimised for home cinema use, producing a high contrast and uniform reflectivity. A black PVC backing prevents light leakage so that the screen can be positioned in front of a window.

Featuring one of the best mounting systems on the market, the Cyber projection screens have two small brackets which fit the wall or ceiling anywhere along the length of the case. An aluminium lever secures the position of the screen once it is clipped into the bracket. The lever needing to be pressed to lift the screen off the bracket.

The case design ensures that the internal roller is kept perfectly straight and the material well protected as well as keeping any motor noise to a minimum. A diamond white aluminium case with an elegantly curved profile makes it one of the nicest looking screens on the market. The Cyber series projector screens all use SOMFY motors, the same motors found in the likes of Dalite and Stuart cinema screens.

All Cyber Tab Tensioned electric screens feature a built-in infra-red remote control and come with a simple hand-held remote. The IR receiver is located on the front of the curved case but if you are installing the screen behind a pelmet or recessing it into the ceiling a small external IR eye is included. It also includes a 12volt trigger input which allows the screen to be activated from any projector or surround sound amp with a 12volt output using the 10m mono minijack cable supplied.
