DALI describe their design and engineering philosophy for the IKON MK2 as being 'built on passion and courage' while prioritising the best possible sound performance, and then putting this sonic superiority into an attractive and appealing design.

This loudspeaker model incorporates the same loudspeaker technology and design philosophy found within the Ikon models, and merges it with the unobtrusive convenience of the in-wall nature of the Phantom Custom Installation series. This means that you are able to build a high quality two-channel hifi system, or a glorious surround-sound package with the signature level of quality that ikon provides, while saving an immense amount of space, with practically no physical footprint within the room.

The aluminium cabinet that houses the speaker is exceptionally rigid, designed to dampen unwanted resonance and vibration. The Ikon Phantom offers clear, crisp sound in both music and film settings.
