Denon's PMA-520AE is an integrated amplifier that utilises a High-Current Single-Push-Pull circuitry to accomplish the type of playback strength and detail expected from any Denon pure audio amplifier. Denon have used a relay switch for CD and phono inputs that contains an inert gas. This prevents noise that can negatively interrupt and manipulate the signal. Denon has also used specially selected robust parts, picked for their contribution to excellent sound quality. These parts include high-capacity reservoir capacitors for the power supply circuit, high-quality sound carbon resistors, and high-quality sound capacitors are also used within the amplifier. Each of the parts used within the configuration of the circuits reflects the emphasis Denon place on high fidelity. Also, to improve convenience, the remote control for the unit can also be used to control Denon CD players and network player DNP720.
Five line level inputs (CD, network player, Aux, Tuner and a Tape loop) plus a turntable input for moving magnet cartridge give lots of system building options.
A more luxurious aluminium front panel is now employed in the 520, together with larger volume and selector knobs, and a newly designed power button.
