Dynavector launched its 10x series in 1978 and instantly scooped awards for prestigious Design and Engineering in Chicago for both 1978 and 1981. These days the Dynavector 10x range is at its fifth version: Dynavector 10x5.

Featuring a unique magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism in conjunction with a powerful Neodymium magnet shows that the Dynavector has moved on since its first predecessor from 1978. Durability and practicality has been improved in the sense that there is now an aluminium head block for attaching the cartridge to the tonearm.

Dynavector’s commitment to quality has also been extended in the coil wiring. They have minutely increased cable diameter to reduce impedance to 150 ohms, whilst still producing a healthy 2.5 mV output.
