A dedicated moving coil phono stage will always perform better than a combined MM/MC phono stage due to the inevitable compromises this approach imposes on the design - the Graham Slee Gram Amp 3 Fanfare is a dedicated moving coil phono stage for this very reason.
This phono stage will amplify the delicate output of your MC cartridge and correct the RIAA response to within 0.5dB, allowing connection to a line level input on your amplifier.
Designed with advanced ultra linear op-amps and audiophile components, the sound quality is staggeringly good. Stereo images are deep and wide, bass solid and tangible, vocals so realistic you will get tingles of the spine, whilst high frequencies are detailed and smooth.
Coming as standard with a plug top power supply, a useful and effective upgrade is to opt for the Graham Slee PSU1 regulated power supply, see the options box above.
