A contour switch on the side compensates for the weak bass from some portable headphones by boosting low frequencies to give a more satisfying sound.

Powered from a single 9V PP3 battery, one to three months of usage is assured due to the high-efficiency circuitry employed. Top-quality components are fitted including ALPS volume control and switches, giving dependable reliability and superb sound quality. The black ABS case is drop proof and durable, whilst the battery is easily changed due to the snap-on, snap-off design casework. The amplifier can be powered from USB once you get home or at work from your computer, or via the supplied plug-top power supply.
