Blu Ray Players

The latest video disc format taking over from DVD in 2009, Blu -ray players offer high definition 1080p video and Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio to create the most lifelike and impressive home cinema experience yet. Blu-ray players are also compatible with DVD, CD and sometimes SACD playback.

Originally capable of just 2D video, 3D video is now available providing your TV is 3D compatible. Interactive features accessable via a network connection allow such additional content as trailers, interviews with the actors etc All connections are usually made by a single HDMI cable to the AV receiver or directly to the TV or Projector.

All blu-ray players are regionally coded, so that Blu-ray discs purchased in USA for example, will not play correctly until the blu-ray player has had it's software modified to multi-region compatible.
