The KEF R300 5.1 package is a hand picked 5.1 surround sound package, designed to allow each speaker to interact with the other and compliment each other in order to bring you sound that will send shivers rippling across your skin. Whether you use the combination to bring out all the dramatic finesse of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" or to allow the aliens into your living room during Independence Day, the R300 5.1 Package will work hard to bring the most realistic and invigorating sounds to whichever system or new technology you use it to enhance.
Comprising two front speakers, two rear, one centre and a subwoofer, the R300 deal is the complete package and will fulfill all of your needs. At an entry level price, its bigger brothers the R500, R700 and R900 would no doubt beat it in an audiophile-off, but for everyday use and enjoyment, there is perhaps no better starting point than this.
The new Uni-Q MF/HF driver array which powers the heart and soul of the system is a work of genius. You will find that the midrange response is swift and tidy, due to a braced magnesium/aluminium alloy cone, and KEF’s Z-flex surround eases the transition of vibrations to the front panel. A sturdy die-cast aluminium chassis stops resonance transferring to the cabinet.
These are speakers of ferocious power which will bring films that you had grown tired of to life, making you feel as though you are watching them, no, living them, for the first time. The off-axis dispersion is without comparison, allowing each person in the room to enjoy identical sonic imaging, wherever they are sitting.
Music or movies, Beethoven or Biohazard, you are guaranteed a performance that will hold you captive for the duration, accurately recreating the natural live sound of the original performance.
