The Koetsu Red or Rosewood Signature as it is often known, is a very similar design to the standard Koetsu Red, however the Signature model has a more electrically matched core and coil set, leading to better channel balance and therefore deeper and wide sound stage.
Visually the Signature model is identified by it's rectangluar body, where as the standard Red has a sloped base.
