Marantz MCR610 Melody Media Mini System
Marantz are the premium audio system provider in the market place, and they have built upon the recent success of the well received MCR603 system. The Marantz MCR610 combines all of the streaming features and power output of the MCR510, and also adds additional music source capabilities in the form of CD playback, an FM and DAB tuner, plus a stereo audio input so that you can connect a traditional stereo source, such as CD player or a turntable with built in pre-amplifier. An analogue output is also provided to allow a tape recorder to be added.Packed full of features, including WiFi (with single button setup) or Ethernet connectivity for internet radio/network streaming and support for Spotify and Last FM. Also DAB/FM Tuners, CD and there’s also a new digital input to enable you to connect your TV. In addition, there is a second rear USB port for added connectivity convenience. The Melody Media also supports ALAC, as well as 192kHz / 24bit high-resolution WAV, FLAC HD files, and Gapless playback as well. As always, the USB port is iPod-digital-compatible and is “Made for iPhone” certified. Whatever you want, the powerful 60W (rms) x2ch plays music loud and clear… and effortlessly, because the large display makes operation easy.
With similar construction to the premium range from Marantz the Melody Media is an elegant looking machine in a high gloss jet black, while the centre comes in either black or white.
