Marantz are renowned for developing some of the most impeccable sounding hifi components on the market today, incorporating this reputation into smaller mini systems like the award-winning MC-R610. The M-CR611 is the successor to this highly acclaimed model, and features improvements across the sound quality and number of features to make what was already an excellent product even better. Aesthetically, the M-CR611 is quite similar to its predecessors, seeing minor adjustments to the white finish (now dubbed 'Apple White') and with the ability to change the colour of the illumination on the front, to either white, blue, green or orange depending on personal preference or existing decor.

The 686 S2 builds upon the high standards of versatility and sound quality found within its predecessor, while also improving upon the aesthetic nature of the speaker itself. The 686 S2 is the ideal bookshelf or wall-mount speaker solution for any music enthusiast looking to achieve the best results from their music source. The speaker utilises a 5 inch bass/midrange driving unit, which has been improved with the integration of a new 25mm voice coil. This allows the speaker to act much more sensitive in order to deliver the most precise and detailed sound response.

QED has given us another speaker cable with features that are plentiful with a wallet friendly price tag. 99.999% Oxygen Free Copper conductors allow for a smooth run of audio signals along the length of the cable, whilst a low impedance design allow for plentiful lengths of the QED Original to be used with little degradation in sound quality. On top of this, the cable geometry allows for low dissipation and low levels of conductor leakage.
