Martin Logan's EM-ESL X (Electro Motion Electro Static Loudspeakers X) builds upon the exceptionally high-standard set out by the original Electro Motion speakers. Featuring a larger electrostatic transducer, the upgraded X model guarantee an even wider and more detailed soundstage while the newly integrated dual woofers allow for a deeper bass and increased power-handling abilities.
The twin woofers feature a high-excursion design and are housed within an anti-resonant and asymmetrical bass reflex chamber, but retains a surprisingly compact enclosure. These woofers are build from high-rigidity paper, with extended-throw driver assemblies. This allows for the fast and prompt movement of vast amounts of air, improving control and the dynamics of the music.
Within the EM-ESL X are custom=wound transformers, air-core coils, large steel laminate inductors, polyester and low DF electrolytic capacitors. All things that Martin Logan have honed and perfected over years of beautiful electrostatic loudspeaker development and unbeatable craftsmanship
