The Ovator S-600 from Naim features twin 200mm bass drivers, with an 85mm BMR in a 60 litre enclosure. It's designed for larger listening rooms, and for use with higher-end Naim amplification products. With bass extension reaching down to 28Hz and maximum levels that can really give justice to the dynamic range of live music up close and personal, the Ovator S-600 gives the ultimate in wide bandwidth and dynamic music reproduction.

The speakers make use of hardened, surgical grade, anti-magnetic M8 floor spikes made from stainless steal, these are the vital mechanical connection between the speaker unit and the ground of the listening location. Ovator's bass drivers have rigid paper cones, natural rubber surrounds and aluminium demodulation rings inside their neodymium magnet systems. The bass drivers also incorperate general pole-piece ventilation and the linearity and resistance to compression of the bass drivers is exceptional

The enclosure of the unit is built from a combination of 25mm and 50mm panels, put together comprehensively to provide a sturdy, non resonant and low diffraction reference plane for the drivers. Selected panels also make use of strategic mass-daming, and the internal bracing has a division that makes seperate loading volumes for each bass driver
