The NuForce Reference 9 V2 mono power amplifier is similar to the 9SE, albeit with simpler circuitry, offering reference level performance at a lower price. This is a mono power amp hence a pair is required for a stereo set-up. Sharing a common case with the rest of the NuForce equipment base they will stack in an elegant fashion. The Reference 9 V2 is unusual at this price point in that they both balanced XLR and phono inputs for connection to a NuForce or other brand pre amp. Binding posts on the rear are Eichmann Cable Pods enabling the user to use either spades, banana plugs or bare wire. With a generous 120W power output, and phenomenal current delivery this amplifier has been built to last and offer power effortlessly when needed. NuForce power amps hold there own with some of the finest valve and semi conductor amplifiers ever built and the Ref 9 V2 is no exception and is able to produce an extremely wide stereo sound stage with depth and height correctly proportioned with the performance. Tonal accuracy is amongst the best many have heard at any price point.
