The design of the Onkyo C-7070 precision CD player has all been geared towards purer, more natural music reproduction from your CD collection. Both the mechanical and electronic design have been optimised to ensure noise and viabration are virtually elimenated, so that there is nothing to degrade the delicate music signal.

In terms of the mechanical design, heavy brass tuned feet suppport a 1.6mm thick steel chassis, which gives this player a very stable platform for the CD mechanism. The diecast CD tray mates to a silent CD mechanism for further viabration control. The thick aluminium front panel and floating printed circuit boards again protect the music signal from contamination.

The electronic circuitry features a very stable clock with low jitter feeding a pair of Wolfson 24 bit 192kHz DAC's for rich, clear sound quality with excellent rhythmic ability - DIDRC technology reduces intermodulation distortion to give 3D stereo imagery. Gold plated phono sockets offer a low resistance path for the audio signal to your amplifier. The headphone socket has a dedicated headphone amplifier for best possible soundquality. iPhone and iPod can be digitally connected via the USB port to ustilise the superior DAC's on board to decode and replay music from your iPod.
