Fitted with an elliptical diamond stylus on an aluminium cantilever, the Ortofon Vivo Blue is a superb entry level moving coil cartridge, delivering many of the sonic advantages of MC's without breaking the bank. Tracking optimally and securely at just 1.8g, has a low impedance output, making it insensitive to loading and therefore widely compatible with all preamplifiers. 99.9999% pure copper armature coils precision manufactured in Japan ensure a transparent sound quality from Ortofon Vivo Blue with very low noise and hum. Having been designed with a low resonance poly carbonate moulded body which ensures the cartridge is both very neutral in tone, but also durable and easy to mount and align.
