ProAc are a British loudspeaker manufacturer, noted for their robust and impressive build quality, as well as their commitment to the 'perfectly natural' design philosophy that they have become world-famous for upholding. Every ProAc loudspeaker is crafted by hand with delicacy and meticulous attention to detail, with each solid cabinet constructed, acoustically-damped and then finished in real wood veneer.
The Response D30 speakers from ProAc make use of a new, polymer rear-coated carbon fibre coned bass anchored within a slender environment. Bass loading occurs through side vented directional loading, similarly used in the D40 speakers. This produces an exceptionally detailed and accurate bass response a heft extension and lower colouration.
ProAc have recently implemented the use of a carbon fibre within the cones of the some other model of speaker, including the Response D40, Carbon Pro 8 and more. From this, they have achieved levels of sound quality and clarity that were only dreamed of several years ago. The hefty (but essential) research involved in developing these models and the materials used means ProAc are able to design cones that give exquisite frequency response traits - and the new Response D30 is the latest speaker to make use of this acoustically excellent carbon fibre.
The D30 speakers have the same high quality HF units you'll find in the D40 and D40R speakers. The crossover network makes use of specific and dedicated components of the highest quality, and multi-strand, oxygen free, copper wiring. The traditional ProAc split crossover gives both bi-wiring and bi-amping options. The D30 therefore offers a similar bass loading, cone material, tweeter and crossover network to that of it's larger sibling, which makes it the ideal choice for anyone passionate about sound, but requiring a smaller floorstander - but still demand to retain sonic excellence.
The supplied spikes are designed to penetrate the thickest of carpets, and when used in conjunction with quality electronics, the phenomenal performance of the D30 can be fully revealed. The D30 offers clean and powerful bass, an uncoloured, open midrange and a sweet, detailed high frequency response. The D30s are designed by Stewart Tyler, and they offer a wonderfully natural and musical performance with detailed imagery that will appeal to all audiophiles and music lovers globally.
