QED 4mm Airloc banana plug, including termination.

QED has provided another great banana plug for termination onto a range of speaker cables. All QED plugs are terminated onto the specified cable by using official QED termination equipment.

QED Airloc allows for a solder-less termination, which results in a strong, enduring connection between cable and plug. The principle of QED Airloc is to create a connection that contains no solder, to make sure that no articles, such as dust, can degrade the cable, or diminish the overall sound quality. Conductor material inside the cable can become oxidised over time. Airloc prevents this to preserve cable, and more importantly, the audio signals that are carried along the cable.
