The ultimate in QED’s range of video interconnectivity and practicality. As we know, Scart is renowned for its quick and secure connection that links many forms of video equipment to each other with very satisfying results in both sound and picture quality. However, component video has also become a very popular form of interconnection over the recent years, due to its fantastic form of data transfer that often offers fantastic resolution. What tends to be a problem is the fact that both scart and component video are not compatible, due to having different connections and how they both send and receive data. QED, in their years of product creativity, has reached a great solution to allow a scart and component video to actually be connected together. The QED QCV is the result of another QED engineered project. RGB Scart can now be converted to Component Video for a smooth transition in signals between both Scart enabled and Component Video products. For example, the QED QCV converter can easily allow for a connection between Sky set-top boxes with a Scart output into a screen that does not feature Scart input. Instead, it can be connect by using the component video (YPbPr) inputs instead. The YPbPr terminals are basically the same shape as a phono connection, whilst Scart is an individually designed connection that is made up of many small pins that carry so many forms and arrays of data. Provided with a separate power supply for unmolested overall quality, the QED QCV is the ultimate in both practicality and quality.

QED's scart to component video adaptor operates in PAL, PAL M, PAL N, NTSC, NTSC 4.43 and SECAM.
Includes power supply
