QED WM22 Infra-Red Receiver eye

QED WM-22 is a solution for routing I.R. commands from different locations around a house, back to where ever the designated receiving equipment is located. For example, this can be used to control VCR, DVD, and Satellite Receivers, Blu-Ray players or Hi-Fi components from other rooms. This is useful, for example, if there is one satellite receiver in the whole house that is shared between a number of television sets. A WM-22 that is located in the kitchen can be wired to the receiving component that is in the living-room. The QED WM-22 will easily receive your existing handset’s commands as it only receives the information from infra-red that is fired at its infra-red receiver eye. In turn, with the use of a Roomlink Driver that is connected to an I.R. emitter, the majority of your A/V equipment can be easily controlled from various rooms and locations where a QED WM-22 is located. QED, as with all of their WM (Wall Mount) products recommends strongly that a 44mm back box should be used when installing.
