Quad Artera Play CD Player/DAC
The Artera Play is the system's dedicated source component and pre-amplifier, matched perfectly with the Artera Stereo. The Artera Play is capable of replaying CDs to an audiophile standard, decoding the signal internally with its high-quality DAC chipset and relaying it to the amplifier. You can use the Artera Play to play from other digital sources too, thanks to optical and USB input connections. The USB port is capable of playing music at ultra-high resolution formats, up to 32-bit/384kHz as well as DSD64/128/256 files.
