With the ability to play CD's CD-R and CD-RW discs, the front loading Roksan Kandy K2 CD Player has evolved from the previous Kandy CD Mk3 player in both styling and audio engineering. A new single motherboard is now employed which has been optimised for analogue and digital circuitry, with short signal paths and separate ground tracks, giving this CD Player a very low noise and dynamic sound performance. Powered from a low radiation 50VA toroidal transformer, the multiple secondary windings feed six individual regulated power supplies to transport, control, output stage and conversion/ low jitter clock, so that there is zero interaction between the various circuits of the CD Player. A mechanically isolated CD transport gives massive improvements in clarity and bass impact, making the CD Player one of the best value CD players on the market.
