Kandy Integrated Amp:
With 125W x 2 power output on tap, the Roksan Kandy K2 integrated amplifier is well equipped to power the most difficult loudspeakers to high levels, and deliver a high end sound quality with terrific bass punch, clarity throughout the midrange and detailed clear high frequencies. A new internal layout has bought about a whole host of sonic improvements to this award winning amplifier - the 500VA toroidal mains transformer now benefits from the screening properties of the aluminium heatsink, and additionally is positioned as far away as possible from the sensitive pre-amp circuitry.
The pre-amp section now has a dedicated regulated power supply for even lower noise, whilst the power amp circuitry has been revised and optimally laid out for maximum dynamic capability and short signal paths. Higher quality gold plated contact signal relays now route the inputs with much lower distortion and noise. The motorised Alps volume potentiometer is also re-positioned for short signal paths bringing greater realism and atmosphere to the performance.
A matching power amplifier can be added to allow bi-amping of your loudspeakers, for even greater realism and dynamic expression of your music. Fully featured loudspeaker protection is incorporated to give peace of mind, whilst a newly designed infra red remote control allows armchair control.
