The Rotel RDD-1580 DAC is designed to appeal to music enthusiasts wanting to extract the best from their digital music sources with a variety of digital interfaces (optical, coaxial, USB) to convert to stereo analogue outputs to drive the amplifier of your choice. The circuity of the RDD1580 is constructed as dual mono sections, with a single DAC chip per channel feeding a filter section and audio output buffer stage, which creates the maximum stereo separation for best stereo imaging. Both single-ended phono and balanced XLR outputs are available on the rear panel.
The 24 bit/ 192kHz coaxial and optical inputs are intended to accept digital audio signals from CD, DVD, Blu-ray, set-top box, TV and games consoles. The front USB port is ideal for iPhones or iPad, whereas the 24 bit/ 192kHz asynchronous USB B connection on the rear panel is suited to PC or Mac computers streaming the highest quality audio files.
