The HD598 from Sennheiser is the upgraded replacement for the brand's earlier model, the HD595. The HD598 comprises of an open-backed design, with enhanced internal components to provide a much better degree of sound quality than that of earlier models. 

The HD598 features a deluxe cream/beige colour scheme, with burr walnut inserts - giving the HD598 a stylish and sophisticated aesthetic appeal. Distortion has been maintained to barely exist within 0.1% of the sound playback. This is thanks to the improved diaphragm design within the drivers of the headphones, while the frequency range is extended to offer more depth.
