The new HDVD800 headphone amplifier from Sennheiser is designed to be the perfect compliment the company's high-end, audiophile headphone products, specifically the HD800, HD700 and IE800. The amplifier is constructed from a solid aluminium casework, utilises symmetrical circuitry and has the best quality electronic components within. The analogue equivalent of this machine is called the HDVA600, and is available from Hifi Gear. Both amplifiers are considered 'true soundraisers' by Sennheiser and are implemented to perfection. 

This gives the HDVD800 an exceptional, and transparent sound quality. Digital and analogue sources are catered for within the amplifier, the digital sources can be connected simply using either an AES/EBU balanced connection, an optical toslink, coaxal or a USB. The DAC sections emply a 24bit 192kHz Burr Brown DACs for excellent sound quality.
