Teac's AX-501 integrated amplifier consists of an entirely-balanced analogue circuit pre-amplifier, utilises a high power digital amplifier, and possesses XLR balanced inputs. The ABLETEC class D power amp has a hefty maximum available output of 120 W + 120 W (4 ohms). The XLR balanced input terminals are optomised for use with the UD-501, but can also be used for other USB digital analogue convertors.
The fully-balanced circuitry has been precisely and delicately designed to remove any unwanted analogue circuit noise or interferance, while the vast capacity Toroidal-Core Power Transformer has been designed to deliver as much power as possible. The AX-501's headphone output has been designed to offer high linearity, thanks to its optomised CCLC System.
The amplifier does not need a cooling fan, which makes it beautifully quiet to operate while the full-metal casing, built from a beautifully styled aluminium, makes it look aesthetically as beautiful as it sounds. The AX-501 also has a vast number of inputs, which means it will easily find a home in your existing hifi system.
