The Wave is a 75 ohm coaxial cable that can be used for either video or audio purposes. In terms of video The Wave can be used for linking camcorders, DVD and laserdisc coaxial outputs and any video coaxial output to a television, projector or any video coaxial input. This also is the same for audio, allowing a connection between a CD, DAT or MiniDisc to an amplifier coaxial input to be established. In home cinema applications, The Wave is certainly worth considering as a link between an amplifier to an active sub woofer. 25 Years of Van den Hul research has gone into this product, explaining why it must have been good enough to win the What Hi-Fi?
