Yamaha YAS-152 Front Virtual Surround Soundbar

Yamaha's YAS-152 is a wide sound projection bar that fits well with televeisions with larger screen sizes, notably 55" to 60" wide. The main body of the soundbar has been equipped with two 6.5cm (2-1.2") speakers, two 8.5cm (3-1/2") subwoofers, as well as a digital amplifier with a 120 watt total output. The speaker and subwoofer aspects of the unit are seperated to the left and right hand sides of the bar, which enables you to experience sound with breadth and superb imaging suitable for large television screens. Its wide shape and leading sound bar construction and design allows the YAS-152 to achieve larger cabinet capacity. This allows you to enjoy TV sound with a detailed and liquid bass response

The dual built-in subwoofers utilise large magnets and large-diameter voice coils in an effort to create a dynamic and hefty bass sound experience. This means that the overall sound has a clear and rich sense of presence, causing your films or television programs to sound more realistic.

Yamaha's new YAS-152 uses a bass reflect port, that's been designed to consist of a straight shape and an adequate length in order to provide unbeatable bass response, together with the large volume cabinet. The bass duct outet is shaped similarly to a trumpet bell, this design reduces wind noise to form an even better sound clarity.

The YAS-152 utilises exclusive Yamaha technology, titled 'AIR SURROUND XTREME', which reproduces a high quality 7.1-channel surround sound, impeccable imaging and a dynamic presence of which Yamaha have described as being far superior to that of any other soundbar. You'll be able to experiece a mighty realistic and impressive sound-stage, with clear dialogue to the front and dynamic sound action at the back.

This sound bar has been constructed to be compatible with a number of popular surround sound formats, including Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround. This means you are able to achieve the full effect of multichannel film sound. 

You can enjoy the sound of music, or films from your smartphone and tablet devices through a wireless connection. Whilst watching on the screen of your design, it's simple to erform 'select', 'play' and 'stop' operations as you enjoy the sound being amplified and recreated through the YAS-152. It also has a Bluetooth standby mode so by linking to Bluetooth on/off via the terminal - you are able to utilise the convenience of the YAS-152 turning on and off automatically.

The YAS-152 also has its own dedicated app controller (HT Controller) for iOS and Android devices. Its operating screens are easy to see and use, and allow you to perform a number of operations without complication, including setting surround programmes or sound quality while watching your smartphone or tablet screen

The YAS-152 measures 120 cm (47-1/4") wide and has been designed to be similar to the width of a 55 inch television, so it'll look just right whe used in conjunction with larger TV's from 55 inches to 65 inches. The soundbar has been designed so that it's low enough to be placed directly in front of a television, the body of the unit has an elegantly curved surface to the front. It's glossy finish matches flat screen TV's and will add a stylish accent to your entertainment area.

Should the YAS-152 be placed in the path your televisions remote control signal, the TV remote repeater on the back of the unit will simply transmit the signal to the television, meaning operation of the TV is left unaffected.
