Yamaha are typically regarded as the flagship brand of the soundbar market, having been one of the first manufacturers to create a soundbar. There are a variety of soundbars to choose from, at various different price categories.
The YAS-306 is one of Yamaha's entry level soundbars and is designed to enhance and rejuvenate the sound of your television to offer a far more dynamic and immersive audio/visual experience. As televisions have grown to become thinner and more aesthetically sleek, the loudspeakers within these sets have unfortunately had to conform and do the same, resulting in a lacklustre sound quality that doesn't do the picture justice.
The YAS-306 makes use of quality internal amplification to offer a powerful and dynamic sound, while its sophisticated Air Surround Xtreme audio refraction technology means that you are able to experience a realistic 7.1 channel surround sound configuration without the awkward and obtrusive speakers dotted around your cinema room.
This soundbar has also been designed with music in mind, supporting 192kHz/24-bit high resolution files including FLAC, WAV and AIFF, as well as streaming options like AirPlay, Bluetooth and Yamaha's MusicCast multiroom technology.
