The unit arrived to us in this condition and has never been out so is not an ex demo unit. Yamaha YHTS401 sound bar
For those who want an immersive surround cinema experience but can't cope with multiple speakers, cables and clutter, Yamaha have introduced the YHT-S401 virtual surround sound cinema system. Comprising of two easy to place units, a slim sound bar with vertical or horizontal position subwoofer, and yet packs 3 high quality drivers to handle front left, centre and right channels.
Great for home cinema
The soundbar sits below your TV on height and width adjustable feet and connects to the second unit with a simple cable which is hidden away. The sound bar can either sit underneath your TV thanks to adjustable height feet, or the feet can be removed for wall mounting beneath your TV. The oval centre speaker gives crisp voice making listening to TV and movies even at low volumes very clear and unfatiguing. The integrated subwoofer/ av receiver has 3 x 50W amplifiers on board to power the sound bar, and 100W to drive the integral subwoofer. Three HD compatible HDMI inputs and one output allow you to connect Sky, Blu-ray or DVD, Playstation 3 or set-top box with the minimum of fuss. Your TV is connected to the 1080p capable HDMI output, and an optical audio input allows the TV sound to be played by the sound bar.
iPod compatible
Compatible with iPod/ iPhone via it's USB input and also has Bluetooth technology to enable you to stream music from your mobile telephone. Compressed music enhancer gets the best sound quality from low bit rate MP3 tracks, whilst Air Surround Extreme enables surround sound to appear from behind, without rear speakers!
