The Yamaha YSP2200 digital sound bar is designed to allow you to experience surround sound from your favorite movies without all the speakers, cabling, stands to clutter up your living space. It provides a similar listening experience to surround sound speakers without the clutter and mess of wires and stands. There are many people who want 5.1 or even 7.1 surround sound, but do not want to compromise the look of their living room, the YSP-2200 has technology to allow you to enjoy surround sound without all of the clutter.

This high performance digital sound projector gives you 7.1 surround sound quickly and easily without any extra speakers. To set it up, connect the supplied microphone and position it at the centre of the main listening position. The soundbar then measures the audio reflectivity of the room and walls and uses that gathered information to reflect sound around the room to re-create a true 7.1 surround sound system. A subwoofer is supplied with the soundbar to provide additional bass reinforcement.

Other features include the well known Cinema DSP surround modes, plus an iPod dock connection, which can be wired, or wireless with the addition of the  YITW10 wireless iPod dock. Compressed music enchancer is also built into the YSP2200 ensuring that when you are listening to compressed music from a iPod or MP3 player you get the very best possible sound quality. The Yamaha Kinsei rack is an excellent partner to this soundbar, as it allows you to position itself and your TV perfectly. Cable management is built-in to the Kinsei rack, so no cables can be seen. The YSP2200 is the perfect way to enjoy 7.1 surround sound in your home without having to tolerate additional speakers dotted around, or unsightly cables and stands.
