Audio Technica VM540ML/H Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge
The VM540ML is part of Audio Technica's new 'VM cartridge line' This particular cartridge comes with a VM dual magnet cartridge with the newest MicroLine stylus. This also comes with an aluminium cantilever and paratoroidal coils which greatly improves the efficiency generated. There is a centre shield plate between the left and right channels the help the amount of crosstalk that is produced. The housing of the cartridge is made out of a durable, low-resonance polymer. This will dramatically reduce the amount of signal that the cartridge normally picks up. This cartridge is fitted with the pre-assembled, lightweight aluminium headshell (AT-HS10) for a quicker, easier set-up
