The B&W A5 is a pure, simple and sonically stunning, wireless audio system. The unit has been designed entirely to provide the best in high fidelity audio, while utilising Apple 's Airplay technology for lossless audio transmission. Compact in size, big in sound - the A5 can easily sit anywhere in your home and fill your life with the joy of music.

Playing music through the B&W A5 is as easy as thinking about it. Simply select the speaker from the AirPlay menu and hit play on your Apple device to immediately begin listening to your favourite songs in both high-quality lossless audio and space-saving MP3 formats. You can stream audio from iTunes on your Mac or PC as well. Airplay also lets you group speakers together, meaning that multiple A5's can act as a multi-room system, walk between rooms and hear your music throughout.

The A5 is able to stream (using AirPlay) music from your preferred music related apps, including Last.fm, Pandora and Mixcloud. The A5 is able to wirelessly and easily playback your music no matter, whether it be through lossless audio, MP3 or a cloud-based streaming service.

The A5 borrows the same technology found within the drivers of the M-1 speakers, as well as anti-resonance plug technology and dimpled flowports. This, when used in conjunction with the A5's integrated high-quality DACs and processors, results in a digital signal essentially untainted by unwanted distortion, with a large and vibrant sound - despite coming from a surprisingly compact system

One of the most recognisable B&W-specific technologies used within the A7s is the use of the tube-loaded tweeters, first found in their flagship Nautilus speaker. Rear reflections within the cabinet of the unit are absorbed by the design to promise pure high frequency sounds.

The dedicated Bowers & Wilkins Control App guides you through the few steps needed to activate the unit, providing a swift and convenient set-up process.
