The Chord Signature Reference Speaker Cable

Chord Signature Reference loudspeaker cables are an evolution of the original Signature speaker cables developed some ten years ago to enormous acclaim. Having recently developed the ultimate performance Sarum speaker cable, Chord engineers learned new lessons in cable design, and were able to take a fresh look at the Signature cable with a view to including many of the learnings from Sarum development - the result is the new Signature Reference speaker cable.

So what has been changed? The new Signature Reference features silver-plated copper stranded conductors with PTFE insulation but with a higher density screen and differential geometry and spacing of the twin conductors. The positive and negative conductors are held without compressing the twisted cables by a high-quality alloy collar, which is a much more flexible cable than the original Signature. It is available with a red/black outer sheath or all-black outer sheath - the choice is there to suit your taste and interior design preference. It comes factory terminated with 4mm Chord gold plated 4mm banana plugs with heat-shrink insulation, colour coded to assist installation. Handmade to customer order in a range of lengths starting at 1.5m, the Signature Reference will make you re-heard your music collection again, with new and delightful details coming to light, unexpectedly.
