The DALI Kubik Xtra is the passive version of the Kubik Free, which when combined with this unit allows for a superlative stereo performance. A specialised cable and connection is used to link the speakers together, which will allow the Kubik Xtra to share the Kubik Free's amplification and input processing. the specialised connector will power the Kubik Xtra's main woofer and tweeter drivers individually for an improved crossover network, allowing for a paralleled, high-quality sound response from both units. Sold singly.

DALI is an acronym of 'Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries'. As the name suggests, DALI is a Danish company that specialise in designing, engineering and manufacturing high-end and intermediate level audiophile speaker units. The company was founded in 1983 by a man named Peter Lyngdorf and has since expanded from the confines of Denmark, and can now be found sold all over the world as a well-sought after brand of speakers.
The forefront of the Kubik Free's design philosophy is connectivity; offering a prolific and flexible sound system with a DALI-level of exceptional sound quality. This elegantly constructed, active loudspeaker can read and reproduce music from a number of different sources, connected via Bluetooth, USB, Optical or Analogue inputs.
Featuring many aspects of Dali DNA, the Kubik system utilises many of the company's world-famous materials and components. The soft dome tweeter, wooden fibre cones, low-loss rubber surrounds and a glass-reinforced polymer basket make this a DALI loudspeaker at its heart. When combined with the integrated 4-channel stereo Class D amp - the KUBIK becomes a true high fidelity loudspeaker without the hassle. The 100 Watts Class D amplifier is a true active solution offering a fully digital crossover, direct handling of digital sources, and a high quality AD converter. The four channel stereo amplifier (4 x 25 Watts) controls the audio signal to the woofer and the tweeter module individually.
