The Arcam SA10

The SA10 Integrated Amplifier, probably the most anticipated replacement to the phenomenal, multi-award winning A19. The SA10 is an Integrated Amplifier with a revolutionary-low distortion; this class of amp perfectly fits in the Class A/B, very similar to the A19. The Arcam SA10 comes with x5 analogue inputs (x1 line/MM switchable) and x3 digital outputs (x2 SPDIF and x1 optical).

The SA10 has a Sabre 9016 DAC which is already pre-built into this amplifier; the benefits of this is that it will completely reduce the digital jitter that will usually occur. The SA10 is a 50wpc into 8 ohms (both channels are driven). The SA10 comes with a brand new learning back-lift infra-red handset which can now be controlled over your personal IP address, the cleverly developed iOS app made by Arcam and finally the RS232 connection port which will be located on the back of the amp. All around this amp has set the boundaries high when it comes to Integrated Amps; this will definitely start come competition. Available and on Demo at our store.

Who is Arcam?

Arcam is a well-established UK manufacturer of quality hifi components, based just outside of the world-famous University of Cambridge. The company began in 1976, founded by two music enthusiasts with a passion for electronics. The company was initially named Amplification & Recording Cambridge, before shorting to A&R Cambridge, and eventually to the snappier and more impacting name that we know today; 'ARCAM'.
