Bowers & Wilkins P7 Replacement Cable

Bowers & Wilkins is a company who needs a very little introduction, having been constructing some of the world's most critically acclaimed loudspeaker and headphone models for half a decade. Starting at the entry level 600 S2 series, through to the new 700 S2 series audiophile range, 800 Diamond series and flagship Nautilus model. These different series of loudspeaker have been praised as the superior listening experience in both two-channel hifi/music listening and in multi-channel home theatre applications, having claimed a vast multitude of awards in both categories. A Bowers speaker can be easily recognised by the signature yellow Kevlar midrange cone, which can be found with their 600 series with the latest 700 and 800 Series opting for a silver 'continuum' cone.

Due to the nature of the Bowers & Wilkins' P7 earpads, replacing a faulty or no-longer required cable is done with ease and inexpensively. Simply pull off the magnetic pad and unplug the cable beneath, before reinserting the smaller end of the new cable into the slot behind the pad - then pop the pad back on 

There are three options available; a standard two-ring cable for use with Android and non-apple devices (this includes most standard 1/4" jack connectors). A 5m version of this cable is another option, ideal for home-hifi listening or studio use, where the extra cable length and compatibility is crucial.

An iPhone/Apple remote control alternative is the third option. This integrated mic/remote allows you to answer and take calls without removing your device from your pocket, while also giving you the ability to play,, pause, skip and adjust the volume of your music while listening. This remote cable features an additional 'ring' on the connection, which may render the cable incompatible with other devices or some 1/4" inch adapters. For this reason, both the non-apple and apple alternative cables are included when purchasing the P7.
